In 2001, at the age of 19, Margarita Prigorina tested positive to HIV. She claims to not know how exactly the disease was contracted, however, suspects shared needle use to be the source. Her boyfriend doesn't know she is infected, despite living with Margarita´s three kids in just a single room. Estonia has the highest HIV rate in Europa. Margarita lives in Narva the centre of the Russian-speaking minority in Estonia near the Russian border and is unemployed.
